NA begins deliberation on the government’s new policies and programs

Kathmandu, May 26

The National Assembly has started discussing the government’s policies and programs for the fiscal year 2022/23. The policies and programs for the new fiscal year were presented by President Bidya Devi Bhandari before a joint session of the Federal Parliament on May 24.

On behalf of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Govinda Sharma Koirala proposed holding discussions on the government’s new policies and programs in today’s session of the federal parliament’s upper house.

Bhairab Sundar Shrestha, Shekhar Kumar Singh, Bhagawati Neupane, and Bimala Ghimire, who suggested policy amendments, took part in the deliberations and defended the proposals.
