From May 25, a Yarsa collection will be available in Dolpa

From May 25, the Yarsagumba in Dolpa district will be open for collection. A meeting chaired by Sher Bahadur Budha, head of the District Coordination Committee Dolpa, held on Saturday at the district headquarters Dunai with participation from the chief representatives of various district bodies decided to collect Yarsa Patan in Shey-phoksundo National Park and various community forests by June 24. Yarsagumba collecting provides money to the community.

Yarsagumba collectors from Shey-phoksundo National Park will get tickets from Suligad, Dho, Saldang, Rigmo, Sumduwa, Chhepka, Tripurakot, Khaliwan, Pahada, Toijam, and Mugu districts.

Similarly, it has been announced that the permit would be distributed according to necessity in the Division One region.

If any unlawful actions other than Yarsa collection are carried out during the Yarsagumba
collecting season, the park will take action in line with the National Parks and Forests
Conservation Act 2029, Himalayan National Parks Rules 2036, and Intermediate Area
Management Rules 2052. Similarly, during the Yarsagumba collection season, health care
offices for the general public will be put up at various checkpoints, free health camps will be set up in collaboration with various local levels, and Yarsagumba collectors will be guided to garbage collection checkpoints in Patan.
