The meeting chaired by DCC Chief Sher Bahadur Budha at the district headquarters Dunai on Saturday was held with the participation of the chief representatives of various district bodies.

The meeting decided to allow the collection of the Ophiocordyceps sinensis in Shey Phoksundo National Park and various community forests until June 24.

Stating that ordinary people have not been able to collect Yarsagumba for a long time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting decided to open Yarsagumba collection for a month this year. Residents of the buffer zone, within the district and outside the district will be charged different entrance fees for Yarsa collection as per the National Parks Act and regulations.
