Kathmandu, May 20
Renu Dahal of the UCPN (Maoist) has retained her advantage in the Bharatpur Metropolitan
City. Dahal received 21,492 votes out of 56,845 total votes cast.
Vijay Subedi, a UML candidate, received 18270 votes. Jagannath Poudel, an independent
candidate, received 8133 votes. Chitrasen Adhikari of the Nepali Congress received 23,861
votes, while Himala Gurung received 14,028.
