Ram Lal Dagora of Nagarik Unmukti Party wins the mayorship of Tikapur Municipality

Kathmandu, May 19

Nagarik Unmukti Party has won the mayorship of Tikapur Municipality in Kailali.

Ram Lal Dagaura Tharu has won the mayoral post. Tharu defeated Nawaraj Rawal of the Nepali Congress, who had become the mayoral candidate from the three-party alliance.

He got 9 thousand 642 votes. His nearest rival, Nawaraj Rawal of the Nepali Congress, received 6,642 votes.

Similarly, Khadak Shah, the candidate from the alliance, has been elected as deputy mayor by getting 7,955 votes. His rival candidate Ulka Devi BK of Nagarik Unmukti Party received 7,802.
