In Jhapa’s Haldibari rural municipality, Rastriya Prajatantra Party candidate Rabindra Prasad
Lingden has been re-elected as chairman with 6856 votes.
his rival CPN-UML candidate Dambar Bahadur Giri got 4666 votes. Similarly, Congress candidate Tulasi Prasad Oli is in the third position with 2758 votes.
RPP candidate Laxmidevi Mainali has also won the post of vice-chairman. She won with 5078 votes. Her rival Shanta Devi Gautam of UML got 4106 votes.
Similarly, independent vice-chairman candidate Lakham Hemaram got 3700 votes.
