Kathmandu, May 17
Bishnu Bahadur Yogi of the Maoist Center has been elected as the Mayor of Pyuthan
Municipality. Yogi was elected mayor with 9,323 votes. His rival UML candidate bijay Biraj Bista got 7,816 votes.
Similarly, Devendra Burma of Nepali Congress has won the post of deputy mayor of the
municipality. Burma has got 9 thousand 490 votes. His rival Pavitra GC of UML got 7 thousand 182 votes.
