UML candidate Nirmal Rana elected chairman of Laljhadi Rural Municipality

Kathmandu, May 16

CPN (UML) candidate Nirmal Rana has been elected as the chairman of Laljhadi Rural
Municipality of Kanchanpur district by getting 4,516 votes.

His rival CPN (Maoist Center) candidate Madansen Badayak received 2,858 votes in the local level election held last Friday. In the previous election, Badayak was elected as the chairman of the rural municipality from Maoist.

Similarly, CPN (UML) candidate Sapana Chaudhary Rana has been elected as the vice-chairman of the rural municipality.
