A team of observers including Sushila Karki inspected the polling station

Kathmandu, May 12

The voting station is being reviewed by a team of observers led by former Chief Justice and local election 2079 observer Sushila Karki. The polling station at Bishwa Niketan in Tripureshwor was visited by an observation team that included former Chief Justice Karki and former Commissioner Ila Sharma.

Former Chief Justice Karki said that after an on-site inspection of the voting stations, the security procedures had been tightened and arranged. She further stated that separate polling booths for men and women had been put up at the polling booths. She said that the polling place had been well-organized by forming a line in the event that it rained inside.

”Everything is OK,” observer Karki stated. For males and women, there are two voting procedures. Is good Everything has been planned for today? I am convinced that if we keep doing this, we will be able to have elections without fear tomorrow.

Local elections are being held simultaneously around the nation tomorrow (Friday). On Wednesday and Thursday, the Election Commission will distribute voter education and voter identification cards at voting locations for the local election.
