NRB to negotiate treasury bill of Rs. 20.18 billion today

Kathmandu, May 9

On Monday, the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) will auction Rs 20.18 billion in treasury bills. The bank will make the treasury bill public on Tuesday, and it will be auctioned at 3 p.m. in an open competitive procedure.

Within that time frame, interested investors or bill purchasers should have applied. The bank has set aside Rs 7.10 billion for 91 days, Rs 11 billion for 182 days, and Rs 2.8 billion for 365 days for the three types of notes it is selling.

The bank has said that the purchase and selling of bills will be done through an open
competitive procedure, with the remaining 15% being distributed without competition.
