Kathmandu, May 9
Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, visited Ukraine and met with President
Volodymyr Zelensky.
The two leaders conducted a news conference after the meeting. Trudeau stated, ”Russian President Vladimir Putin is guilty of terrible war crimes.”
He believes President Putin should be held responsible for the war’s violence. Trudeau raised the Canadian flag at the Canadian Embassy in Kyiv during his visit.
”We are here to show our support for Ukraine and its people,” Trudeau stated.
Donetsk, in eastern Ukraine, was recently attacked by Russian forces. In an attack on a Russian school, at least 60 people were killed.
