Kathmandu, May 8
In the event that a security worker working for the security of the local level election dies, the dependent family would receive Rs 20 Lakh. The same opportunity will be provided to the families of temporary police employees, according to a meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Sunday.
If any of the election security employees are hurt, the government would cover their medical expenses. Similarly, the temporary police forces posted in the Himalayan district would receive a food allowance. According to the Home Minister’s Secretariat, the Home Ministry has requested to the Council of Ministers that security personnel be paid allowances and dependant families be compensated.
