Kathmandu, May 8
In the meet, CPN-UML candidate Keshav Sthapit and independent candidate Balen Shah were cordial. Balen’s group and UML Keshav Sthapit met this morning during the election campaign and door-to-door campaign in Kathmandu’s Shantinagar area.
Sthapit and Balen exchanged hugs and best wishes. According to Bivek Bastola, a member of Balen’s team, the Sthapit and Balen exchanged well wishes.
During the election campaign, Sthapit was seen as unfriendly to the Balen.
Balen was accused of seeking votes by concealing his name just a few days ago by the Sthapit.
He was even questioned by the Election Commission on the Sthapit statement.
Balen replied to the Sthapit’s comments by describing him as his ”brand ambassador.”
