Domestic flights at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) were disrupted for an hour
following the rumor of a suspicious object at the domestic terminal of the airport.

After an unknown person called to say that there was a suspicious object, all passengers on
domestic flights were evacuated to the airport’s parking area.

Domestic flights were closed while international flights were operational following the rumor.

A search operation was launched by a team made up of Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police.

According to the airport, the bomb disposal team did not find anything during the search
operation, so domestic flight services were resumed.
