Kathmandu, May 1

In an attack on 17 Ukrainian military locations with high-powered missiles on Saturday, Russia’s armed forces claim to have destroyed a warehouse used to store rockets and artillery.

According to a statement on the Russian Defense Ministry’s website, the attacks killed more than 200 Ukrainian troops and damaged 23 armored vehicles. The dispute over Russia’s claim has yet to be settled. The strike has generated no response from the Ukrainian side.

The attack on Odessa Airport was not mentioned in the internet publication. According to a
local governor, Russia has fired missiles toward the airport. Since the incident, the runway has been closed.

Since February 24, the Russian assault has displaced millions of Ukrainians.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov claims to have saved one million people
from Ukraine. Ukraine has accused its people who were stuck following the attack of crossing the border without their will on many occasions. Russia has rescued 100,000 individuals, 100,000 of whom are from the republics of Donetsk and Luhansk.
