Soaltee Hotel has donated 2.5 million to the Kioch- Kathmandu Children”s Hospital

Kathmandu, April 26

The Soaltee Hotel in Kathmandu has donated Rs. 2500,000 to the Kioch-Kathmandu Children’s Hospital, which is run by the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health. As part of its corporate social responsibility, the hotel has contributed to the development of the children’s hospital building.

On Monday, the hotel’s president, Dinesh Bista, and the founding president of the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health, Prof. Dr. Nanda, spoke at an event at the hotel. Bhagwan Koirala received the help money from him.

Bista, the hotel’s chairman, who has been assisting the Soaltee Hotel in different social service programs as part of its social duty, expressed his pleasure at the opportunity to engage with the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health on this socially beneficial project. By learning from the Covid-19 outbreak, he said there was a need for a large investment in a high-quality children’s hospital, and he expressed optimism that the facility’s development will aid in the provision of easy and accessible child health care in Nepal in the future days.

Dr. Koirala, the institute’s president, stated that the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health will operate multi-specialized hospitals in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu, as well as satellite hospitals in other states, with the goal of making the treatment of complex and serious diseases in children simple and accessible.

He stated that the building ofon a children’s hospital has started in Kathmandu, with the first hospital of this institute set to open in Damak, Province 1 in the near future. Dr. Koirala praised the hotel for its support and stated that it would be helpful for future generations’ health.
