Sirjana Singh has registered her candidature for the post of Mayor of Kathmandu

Kathmandu, April 25

Nepali Congress leader Sirjana Singh has registered her candidacy for the post of mayor of
Kathmandu Metropolitan City from the ruling coalition.

She reached the office of the Chief Electoral Officer at City Hall at Exhibition Road, in
Kathmandu, along with party cadres to file candidacy.

Singh, the spouse of Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh, has registered her candidacy for mayor on the coalition’s behalf.

Singh clarified after registering her candidacy that she got the mayoral ticket solely for her
contributions to the party.
