Saudi Arabia evicts 11,000 illegal workers

Kathmandu, April 24

Saudi Arabia has deported 11,647 unauthorized immigrants.
Foreign immigrants, as well as those who violate labor regulations and border security
standards, have been deported, according to the Directorate General of Passports.

Last year, security officers arrested 13,615 violators during a combined field operation
conducted by various security forces and Jawajat on April 14-20, according to Jawajat.

8,752 of them violated the Residency Act, 3,197 violated border security regulations, and over 1,666 broke labor laws.

A total of 106 persons were arrested while attempting to enter the state’s border, with Yemenis accounting for 47%, Ethiopians for 48%, and foreigners for 5%. While attempting to leave across the state boundary, 49 persons were arrested. In addition, 13 others have been detained for transporting and concealing the offenders.

More than 90,756 violators are presently subject to disciplinary actions, including 86,413 males and 4,343 women, with 79,078 violators being transferred to Saudi Arabian diplomatic posts to get travel papers in preparation for deportation. The device has declared.
