Tribhuwan International Airport, which has been in service for 74 years, has been replaced with a new international airport in the country. The famous Gautam Buddha International Airport, which was built as a national pride project in Bhairahawa (Rupendehi), is now operational.
The new runway at Gautam Buddha International Airport has been formally inaugurated,
according to Engineer Pradip Adhikari, Director General of Nepal’s Civil Aviation Authority. ”The second international airport is now fully operational,” he stated. This is a milestone in the civil aviation industry’s 74-year existence. Thank you to everyone who was part of the project, both directly and indirectly.
At Gautam Buddha Airport, both narrowbody and widebody ships will dock. This airport has
performed a mechanical test flight (calibration flight). The commercial operation of Gautam
Buddha Airport, a national pride project, is a watershed moment in the country’s aviation history, according to the responsible official.
