The Army has won the CM Kabaddi competition

Kathmandu, April 20

The Nepal Army Club, a departmental team, won the Chief Minister’s National Men’s Kabaddi Competition in Dhangadhi. The army claimed the trophy when another departmental team beat Nepal APF Club in the final on Wednesday.

In the title match of the Chief Minister’s National Men’s Kabaddi Championship, Army defeated APF 40-16. The Army got a cash reward of Rs 150,000 in addition to the title of the competition held by the Kailali District Kabaddi Association in Dhangadhi. APF, the runner-up, earned Rs 80,000.

Far-Western Province and Lumbini Province, the two teams who advanced to the semi-finals, finished third and fourth, respectively. Both teams got a total of 40 thousand rupees.

The winners of the tournament, which is the major promotion of the Far Western Sports
Council, were awarded prizes on Wednesday.
