Kathmandu, April 20
After returning to work, Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari stated the order came in favor of the system.
The Supreme Court granted an interim order on Tuesday prohibiting the governor from implementing the ruling right away.
He said the order was in his favor by system, not his when he returned to work on Wednesday following the order.
”I’m only a medium.” ”This is a system order,” he explained. ” More people have spoken for the system than for me here. That is something for which I am grateful. ”Now it's time for me to get back to work.”
The governor was suspended at a cabinet meeting on April 8. On April 17, he filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court. The writ was only registered the next day in the court.
The personnel has greeted at the NRB’s Baluwatar headquarters on Wednesday.
The Supreme Court has scheduled a hearing for both sides on April 26 to examine the governor’s suspension.
