Kathmandu, April 19
The United Nations has requested humanitarian assistance for Ukraine. Ukraine has been urged to deliver humanitarian aid by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
Ukraine claims to be analyzing the damage inflicted by Russia’s assault and rescuing civilians. He asked people to help the injured persons by rescuing them and providing essential humanitarian aid.
He also asked the international community to give necessary assistance while staying out of the aid distribution process. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has requested assistance in some of the places where people are in desperate need of assistance. He asked the international community to take the lead in providing aid and relief in those areas.
