After two days of declines, the stock market climbed by double digits on Tuesday

Kathmandu, April 19

The stock market index Nepse surged by double digits on Tuesday, the third day of the week.

The market closed at 2357.24 points, up 13.37 points on Tuesday’s close. This is a 57 percent gain from zero. On Monday, a total of 27,841 transactions involving 229 entities were completed. Only 32 lakh 13 thousand 195 shares were purchased and sold as a result of these transactions.

Previously, the market had fallen on Sunday and Monday. The stock market made a comeback on Tuesday. On Tuesday, a total of Rs 1.32 billion was transacted. All subgroups went green on Tuesday. Other hotel and tourist subgroup investors made the biggest money.

On Tuesday, the shares of Nesdo Prosperous Microfinance Institution and Green Venture Ltd. climbed the highest, each by 10%. Mega Mutual Fund, Shivshree Hydro, and Himalaya Energy Development Company all have increasing stock prices. The stock of Divyeshwari Hydropower has dropped the most, down 8.82 percent. On Tuesday, Nabil Bank recorded the highest turnover of Rs 63 million.
