Kathmandu, April 19

A court in the United States has declared that wearing a mask when riding on public
transportation, such as flights, trains, and buses, is not compulsory.

According to Reuters, Florida Judge Katherine Kimball Michelle rejected a rule requiring the
wearing of masks on public transit on Monday.

Then-President Donald Trump appointed Judge Catherine. Major US airlines have removed the need for passengers to wear masks on domestic flights as a result of a court judgment.

Passengers can now choose whether or not to wear a mask.

By May 3, health officials in the United States have made wearing masks on public transit a
must.

The court’s decision comes at a time when 35,000 people in the United States are sick with corona, according to the White House.

Masks should be required on public transportation starting in February 2021, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
