Kathmandu, April 17
A Summit Air aircraft that took off for Lukla Airport at around noon was forced to make a safe landing at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu after encountering technical issues with its engine.
Flight number SMA 407, which took off for Lukla with 15 passengers and three crew members on board, landed safely at TIA after encountering engine problems, according to sources.
