In Costa Rica, a Boeing 757 belonging to the freight corporation DHL made an emergency
landing.
The jet crashed on arriving at Juan Santamaria International Airport in Costa Rica.
After a few knocks, and usually landed plane falls on the runway, does a U-turn, and lands on the runway outside the runway. Following then, the image of the plane breaking in half in the center became viral on social media.
Only the crew members were on board, according to DHL, and they were safe.
The pilot conducted an emergency landing, according to Luis Miranda Munoz, deputy head of the Costa Rican Civil Aviation Authority, claiming hydraulic issues on the jet bound for
Guatemala.
The plane that went down in the water was manufactured in 1999.
