Kathmandu, April 7
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has inaugurated an anti-typhoid vaccination campaign
today.
At a program held at Durbar High School in Ranipokhari, Prime Minister Deuba inaugurated the anti-typhoid vaccination campaign by handing over a vaccine carrier to a health worker.
The vaccination campaign which started today will run till May 8.
The anti-typhoid will be administered to aged children between 15 months to 15 years.
The government is administering the anti-typhoid vaccine for the first time in Nepal. It has
planned to administer this vaccine to 7,500,000 children across the country.
The vaccine is available in nearby vaccination centers.
