A senior leader has urged for a larger military presence in Europe. It should be maintained, according to Deputy Prime Minister, especially in countries bordering Russia. He also advocated for the establishment of a nuclear weapons arena in Poland.
”Poland would be pleased if the US expanded its existing force in Europe from 100,000 to 150,000 soldiers,” he stated. ”We are pushing for Russia’s aggression to intensify,” Jaroslaw said, according to the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag.
75,000 US troops should be stationed permanently in Europe, east of NATO, according to Jaroslaw, who is also the leader of Poland’s ruling party. Before Moscow initiates a military strike against Ukraine, the operation would be the equivalent of around 100,000 US troops involved across Europe.
