Weather likely to remain cloudy for three more days

Kathmandu, April 1

The weather will remain cloudy for three more days due to the impact of the low-pressure
systems around Bihar of India and local winds.

Manju Basi, a meteorologist with the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, forecasts that most of the country would remain cloudy, with the possibility of light rain and lightning in some places.

In the hilly areas of Province 1, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, light rainfall with lightning and thunderstorms has been predicted, as well as light rainfall with lightning and thunderstorms in a few places.

Basi shared, “There will not be clear weather across the nation for three more days.”

The sky in the hilly areas of Province 1 and Gandaki Province will remain partly to generally
cloudy during the night and the remaining places will see fair weather.

As per the latest details of the Meteorological Forecasting Division, today’s minimum
temperature of Kathmandu Valley was recorded at 17.5 degree Celsius and the maximum
temperature at 27.2 degree Celsius.

Similarly, Jumla recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 5.0 degrees Celsius while Dipayal recorded the highest temperature of 37.0 degrees Celsius.
