Ruling coalition meeting begins in Baluwatar

Kathmandu, March 31

A meeting of the ruling coalition has started to formulate a strategy for the local elections.
The meeting is continuing at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar. It is said that the local level election is being discussed in the meeting.

Elections are being held at 753 local levels across the country at the same time on May 13.
The parties in the five-party ruling coalition are preparing to field candidates by coordinating the election.

The ruling Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Center, CPN-Unified Socialist Party, JSP, and
Janamorcha have decided to coordinate at the local level as required.
