Ukraine’s infrastructure has been damaged to the extent of $63 billion

As per the Kyiv School of Economics, Ukraine’s war has caused infrastructure damage worth more than 63 billion dollars. According to the economic impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, at least 4,431 residential structures have been damaged, destroyed, or confiscated as of March 24. In addition, 378 schools and 92 enterprises and warehouses were destroyed.

Seven more thermal or hydroelectric power facilities, as well as 12 other airports, have been destroyed, damaged, or taken over. The school’s earlier estimate, released on March 17, estimated further damage of 3.5 billion dollars.
