Kathmandu, March 27
After a three-day visit to Nepal, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has returned home on
Sunday afternoon.
He left for China at around 2:30 pm on Sunday.
Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal and other officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs saw the Chinese delegation led by Minister Wang off at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
During his Nepal visit, Foreign Minister Wang also hiked in Shivpuri on Saturday.
A nine-point agreement was signed between Nepal and China during bilateral talks on Saturday.
Foreign Minister Wang had a courtesy meeting with President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
He met leaders of major political parties, including the main opposition party CPN-UML
Chairman KP Oli, before returning home on Sunday. After Oli, Foreign Minister Wang met CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
