Kathmandu, March 27
Under financial and technical aid, the government would contribute more than Rs. 11.40 billion to the Nepalese government.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the money would be used to carry out projects that both nations have agreed on. The funding is set aside for the year 2020.
Meanwhile, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who is now in Nepal, has offered to deliver
development aid as promised during President Xi Jinping’s visit.
He made the commitment during Saturday’s Nepal-China Foreign Ministerial Talks in the capital.
On the Rasuwagadhi-Tatopani border, he also committed to completely operating the two-way circulation of goods and services.
During the meetings, the two nations’ foreign ministers directed the relevant organizations to make the necessary preparations for a smooth border operation.
The Chinese Foreign Minister also promised Nepali students that they will be welcomed back to China as soon as possible.
