Every household in Bagmati will get electricity: Chief Minister

Kathmandu, March 25

Rajendra Prasad Pandey, the Chief Minister (CM) of Bagmati Province, has expressed his
commitment to illuminating the province through collaboration between the Bagmati Province government and the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).

Addressing an interaction organized at Hetauda of Makawanpur, CM Pandey shared that the
Bagmati Province government has kept other alternative energy production and use including water and energy on its top priority.

He further said that the provincial government with the collaboration of the Nepal Electricity Authority would forward activities to provide electricity service to cent percent of households of the province.

He also said that the provincial government would provide induction ovens at a reduced price to low-income families to increase power consumption and to set up charge stations at various places to promote electric vehicles.

Similarly, the province’s minister for Water Supply, Irrigation, and Energy, Basanta Bahadur
Manandhar, and member of the Bagmati Province Policy and Planning Commission, Raju Nepal, among others, briefed on the province’s electricity situation and problems.
