Kathmandu, March 20
In the first seven months of the current fiscal year 2078/79, sweet biscuits worth Rs. 895.7
million were imported from overseas. The biscuits were imported between July and January, according to the customs service.
According to statistics, during this time period, 4.541 million 991 kg of biscuits were imported.
Revenue from customs has brought in Rs. 51.48 million has been collected.
Nepal imports biscuits from Australia, Canada, Denmark, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea,
Indonesia, Spain, Poland, New Zealand, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
