US Air Force aircraft in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, March 18

The US Air Force plane has landed in Kathmandu for the fourth time in the last one year.

According to a senior official at Tribhuvan International Airport, a cargo ship of the US Army landed in Kathmandu at 9 am on Friday. The ship returned on Friday. According to the official, this is the fourth visit of a US military ship to Kathmandu in the last one year.

According to him, such army ships had arrived in January, April, and August of 2021. He said the army would not be on board.

According to him, a ship like this is used to transport essential goods and documents for the US Embassy in Kathmandu.

Permission to fly is obtained by following the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal’s procedure during such flights.
