Kathmandu, March 15
The Nepal Olympic Committee has announced that a NOC prize would be given. An impartial award determination committee was created during a meeting headed by Nepal Olympic Committee Chairman Jeevan Ram Shrestha.
Vice President and Executive Director Chaturananda Raj Vaidya and General Secretary Nilendra Raj Shrestha were in attendance during the meeting. On the occasion of the Olympic Deco, the committee’s inaugural award ceremony will be placed on June 23.
The award committee’s coordinator will be Gopal Sundarlal Kakshapati. On that day, the award determination committee had its inaugural meeting. Binayaraj Pandey, Padma Krishna Shrestha, Gopal Chitrakar, Gopal Basnet, Mahendra Bista, Devendra Subedi, Kiran Bajracharya, Geeta Shah, Rita Bista, Deepak Bista, and Akshyata Karki Chaudhary are among the organization’s members.
The committee does not have any office bearers or staff. Former players, coaches, and
journalists make up the committee. It was already agreed to present the NOC award during the committee’s 12th general meeting. The awards will be given out in nine distinct categories by the committee.
