CPN UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said the production of exportable goods is imperative to prop up the national economy.
He said that at a program organized by the party’s Department of Industry, Commerce, and
Supply on Sunday.
He stressed the importance of increasing agricultural products, which are the base of the
country’s economy.
Physical infrastructures, connectivity, human resources, agriculture modernization, and digital initiative promotion are all important pillars in ensuring economic prosperity.
According to him, it is an achievement to have Nepal recommended to be upgraded to the
status of developing countries from the least developed country (LDC) status. Nepal also made satisfactory progress on 14 indicators about the achievement of SDGs.
With COVID-19’s global subsided state, he hoped that economic activities would be restored.
