Modi has urged Putin to meet with Ukrainian President

Kathmandu, March 8

On Monday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi requested that President Putin meet with Ukraine’s President directly.

While Russia invades Ukraine, Prime Minister Modi voiced concern with Russian President Vladimir Putin to try to resolve the conflict. Modi also expressed confidence that if Russian President Vladimir Putin met with his Ukrainian counterpart, the matter would be handled.

The two sides conducted a 50-minute chat, according to the Indian Prime Minister’s Office.
