Foreign Minister Khadka is leaving for Turkey today

Kathmandu, March 8

Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka is leaving for Turkey on a week-long visit to the country.

He is leading a three-member delegation at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Mevlut
Cavusoglu.

Minister Khadka will lead a delegation to the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which will take place from March 11 to 13.

The event will bring together politicians, diplomats, and policymakers from around the world, including South Asia, to discuss current regional and international issues and their solutions, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

While in Turkey, Minister Khadka is scheduled to meet with his counterparts as well as other high-level officials.

The Foreign Minister’s visit, which coincides with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Turkey, is believed to be fruitful in terms of deepening bilateral relationships.

The visit is also expected to contribute to the growth of bilateral trade, investment, tourism, foreign employment and people-to-people contacts.
