CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and leader Naryan Kaji
Shrestha will have a discussion even today.
In a bid to narrow down differences between Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal
‘Prachanda’ and party leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Prachanda invited the latter to his
residence for a discussion.
Shrestha has been meeting with leaders of other fringe Left parties to form a new political
force, dissatisfied with the party’s decision to vote in favor of the Millennium Challenge
Corporation (MCC) Compact.
Prachanda said on Monday that any leader in the party was free to leave. Prachanda’s
statement had made Shrestha even more dissatisfied.
Prachanda has been trying to convince Shrestha to stay at the party.
