”No one can shatter Ukraine,” said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who spoke via video link to a special session of the European Parliament on Tuesday.
He claims that Ukraine is fighting Russian assault on all fronts. ”Russia should think twice about eroding Ukrainian nationalism,” he warned. He also stated that while he would not want a war, he would not back down if Ukraine got attacked.
Meanwhile, the BBC reported that the Russian incursion on Tuesday has resulted in reports of civilian casualties across Ukraine. He admitted that independently verifying all reports of assault and casualties was challenging.
At least two people were killed and 20 others were injured in a bomb blast near the
administration building in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, according to emergency officials.
The incident was labeled a war crime by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
