Kathmandu, February 27
The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting scheduled for today has begun.
The meeting, which had been scheduled for 1 pm, had been postponed for one hour. The
meeting is taking place almost after two hours.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will present the Office of the Attorney General’s Annual
Report for 2020/21 at the meeting, and a possible agenda has been prepared, with Finance
Minister Janardan Sharma proposing the House for a general deliberation on the US-aid
Millennium Challenge Corporation Compact reached between the Governments of Nepal and the United States.
The ruling coalition has already decided to ratify MCC with interpretive explanations during its Sunday morning meeting.
