Facebook’s parent company, Meta, announced on Tuesday that its short video feature reels,
which are considered a competitor to TikTok, are now available in more than 150 countries
around the world.

Reels has become a primary focus for Meta, which has lost roughly a third of its market value as a result of its dismal quarterly financial report.

In 2020, the Facebook firm released the Reels feature on Instagram, and in 2021, the Reels
feature was rolled out to Facebook as a test. Facebook has introduced reels in an attempt to compete with TikTok, a popular Chinese video app.

Facebook’s rapidly increasing function is now being rolled out to all Facebook users across the world, according to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

Facebook users now spend half of their time on social media watching videos, according to the company.

Reels, a Facebook function that lets users earn money, has also been launched. According to Facebook, the bonus program for reels artists will be expanded to many countries, and users of the reel’s platform will be able to earn money via banners and stickers adverts (Sourced from Reuters).
