In Bhaktapur Municipality-10, Kamal Binayak, Laxmi Bank has opened its 142nd branch.
According to the bank, the branch was opened to provide all retail banking services necessary to meet consumers’ financial needs, as well as financial access to small and micro-businesses.
Laxmi Bank now has 142 branches in 50 districts, including new branches. There are currently 11 extension counters and 5 hospital service counters, 173 ATMs, over 2500 remittance agents, and 63 branchless banking agents working for the bank.
To fulfill the increased demand for financial services such as simple savings account schemes, term deposit schemes, home, and car loans, small business loans, microfinance, and others, the bank is also expanding its branch services in new and inaccessible locations.
