Kathmandu, February 22
The chiefs of government offices in Humla are now required to take permission of the Chief
District Officer to leave the district.
Chief District Officer Sita Pariyar issued the orders, claiming that the district’s chiefs of
government offices had been found missing from the office without information or planning.
Pariyar came to this conclusion following her first meeting with district office chiefs on the day she arrived.
The CDO directed the concerned ones to mandatorily submit a written request for leave.
The decision was also made citing the reason that local level election was approaching soon and various information was needed from different offices.
