A preliminary hearing is being held in the Supreme Court on Tuesday on the writ filed against the announcement of local level elections.
The first hearing has been scheduled today in the writ filed by Bhangaha Municipality Mayor
Sanjeev Kumar Sah of Mahottari.
Sah in the writ has argued that the scheduled election date is against the Constitution as the five-year term will not be completed by May 13 from the local level elections held in 2074 BS.
The local level election is being held on May 13.
