Kathmandu, February 10
Laxmi Bank has opened its 141st branch in Dilli Bazaar, Kathmandu. Through the branch, the bank aims to provide all the retail banking services required to meet the financial needs of the customers as well as financial access to small and micro-entrepreneurs. At the same time, the bank’s branch network has reached 141 branches, 10 extension counters and 5 hospital service counters, 172 ATMs, more than 2500 remittance agents, and 63 branchless banking agents in 50 districts.
Along with this branch, the bank is confident of further strengthening and expanding its
services. The bank has been aggressively expanding its branch services in new and inaccessible areas to meet the growing demand for financial services including convenience savings account scheme, term deposit scheme, home and car loan, small business loan and microfinance. Along with branch expansion, the bank has adopted a policy of strengthening its brand in urban and semi-urban areas by providing internet banking and mobile phone banking services to its customers.
