A meeting of Nepali Congress officials is being held in Baluwatar

Nepali Congress officials are holding internal discussions. The agenda of tomorrow’s meeting of the Central Working Committee will be discussed at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar at 2 pm on Wednesday. On Tuesday, except chairman, the office bearers had a discussion at the party office, Sanepa, on the issues of sister-wing and goodwill organizations, pending convention and preparations for the local elections.

Spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat informed that further discussions are being held on the issue in the presence of the President today. He said, “The President did not participate in yesterday’s discussion. We are going to Baluwatar at 2 o’clock to give information about the issues discussed yesterday. There is more discussion on that.”

The Congress is preparing to hold the convention to the sister-wings and well-wishers. Discussions are underway to bring a new committee for that or to extend the time for the current committee. Congress is preparing to hold the conventions in the remaining 16 districts within the month of Falgun. According to Mahat, discussions are also underway to mobilize the party workers to prepare for the local elections.
