Kathmandu, February 8
A chain hotel of famous Thai hotel brand ‘Dushit Thani’ is being constructed in Dhulikhel of Kavrepalanchok.
The construction of the five-star hotel, which started four years ago, is 90 percent complete. Nepali and other foreign investors have invested in this hotel.
It is estimated that Rs 2.5 billion will be invested in the hotel. Economist Ramesh Hamal, who is also the former president of the Non-Resident Nepali Association, Thailand, has introduced Thai chain hotels in Nepal.
The construction process of a hotel in Dhulikhel Municipality-11 was started six years ago with 80 ropanis of land. ”Even though the land was acquired six years ago, work on the hotel started four years ago,” said Chairman Hamal.
Dushit Thani is one of the most popular hotel brands in Thailand. Its chain operates as a hotel in Dubai, India, Maldives, and other countries.
